23 Mar More Love, Love More
Oftentimes, not being in a romantic relationship can make us feel left out or alone. But, I assure you, this is not the only type of love. So, I invite you to embrace all types of love, in all its shapes and colors, that you have the pleasure of experiencing in your life.
This can be the love you feel in the presence of close friends or the love your child shares with you and for you; the way your partner supports you and makes you feel. It can be self-love you’re celebrating, which also deserves recognition and praise.
I also invite you to ask yourself about your love languages and that of those around you. What do you do for the people you love? Do you cook your way to their heart? Or give them the gift of your undivided attention? There are a million and one ways to show your appreciation for the people that surround and influence you. Small acts go a long way.
Love exists in all corners of the world, even when shrouded or hard to see; it makes the world move and function. It drives creative processes. It shines a light in dark places. So how will you contribute to spreading more love while you’re here? Tell the people you love how you feel and if you find that difficult, show them instead.
